The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease during my stay. They were helpful in providing information and assistance whenever I needed it. the location of the hotel was excellent, conveniently situated near key attractions and amenities in the city. This made it easy for me to explore and experience the city without any hassle. Lastly, the rooms were quite comfortable and provided a cozy atmosphere, which made me feel at home during my stay.

One major drawback was the shared showers in the hotel. The stalls were quite small and lacked adequate space to hang clothes, resulting in them getting wet during showers.

I recently stayed at Hostel Roots for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hostel has a nice and cozy common area, perfect for socializing and meeting other travelers. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and easily accessible to other parts of the city. The range of rooms available is great, from dorms to private rooms, ensuring there's something for every type of traveler. The bedsheets and bathroom were clean, which is always a plus. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Roots.

had a blast at carnival! roots was incredible! perfect location by train station, shopping area, and cozy bar. comfy bed, quiet, and lovely design touches. staff even gave us free beers for a check-in issue. exceeded expectations in every way!

Stayed for a festival weekend, and the private room was worth every penny. Friendly staff, cozy common areas, and tidy environment. Basic breakfast was sufficient and they accommodated vegetarian/vegan diets. Dorms and shared facilities were also clean and well-maintained. The owner and staff were amazing, going out of their way to assist. Basement Bar, morning coffee/breakfast, and general facilities were awesome.

The bathroom in the old building had a strange smell, which was not pleasant. there was no secure storage for personal belongings or electronic devices in the room, although they did offer lockers which were relatively small.
